Nationally recognised training is any type of vocational course or program that will lead to a qualification recognised throughout Australia. Taking a nationally recognised course has a number of benefits, including:
- Having the ability to travel and work interstate without having to retrain
- Course content meeting minimum quality standards set by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA)
- Training providers being required to maintain constant engagement with relevant industries
- Training providers being required to uphold training quality standards as set by ASQA
